Apple Cards application checkout issue!

Hi there,

I have the Apple Cards application; and I'm ready to process the order and it stops me at the checkout sequence.

It provides me with the following alert


"There is not enough information in your account to process the order."

Please go to Settings -> Store to update your account info.


I've tried everything from changing the billing information; and it still doesn't work.

May you please assist with this issue?

Is the program not avaialble for Canadians?

I was repeatedly getting a "Credit Card Declined" error in iCard despite this particular credit card working perfectly for years within every other aspect of iTunes and Apple. After trying all the other suggestions in this thread, I finally decided to just changed the credit associated with my iTunes to a different one (from a Visa to a MasterCard). The iCard order then went through successfully.


I guess iCard has a problem Visa!

Hi all,


I had been using the Cards app for quite some time but a week ago I ran into an error when the app processed my purchase. A message is shown saying (translated from Danish):


---

Account Information Necessary

The order can be processed when you have chosen 'Settings' >> 'Store' and updated your account.

---


It made no sense to me.

I tried using an other credit card but still no luck.

Then I remembered that I had updated my name after I got married.

I then moved my middle name down to the 'Last name' field. That worked!

I don't know why this worked... Maybe because my name is registrered differently somewhere else in the Apple systems or the credit card company might have registered my new last name differently...


I hope this information can help others 🙂

Here we are 1 year later & I am having the same issue you did. I tried 6 times to place my order & it was cancelled each time. Low & behold when I looked at my credit card charges there were 6 "pending" charges for the card that kept getting cancelled. I am going to call Apple Care in the morning to see what I can do to get these "pending" charges removed from my credit card.


This was my first time using the Cards app & am rather disappointed with it now.

Judging by the dates here the fault has never been fixed, I've unused this app several times & now I have the new ipad it won't work I've left feedback on the correct form, but I doubt anything will be sorted.. Apple products these days simply do not " just work" ( they used too but not anymore).....


I'm seriously disappointed in Apple these days, I guess they just got too big to care...
