Apple Cards application checkout issue!

Hi there,

I have the Apple Cards application; and I'm ready to process the order and it stops me at the checkout sequence.

It provides me with the following alert

"There is not enough information in your account to process the order."

Please go to Settings -> Store to update your account info.

I've tried everything from changing the billing information; and it still doesn't work.

May you please assist with this issue?

Is the program not avaialble for Canadians?

Thanks

Gabriel

I tried again 5 minutes ago and I get another error message now:

"There is currently no payment information on your account that Cards supports. Please update your account in Settings->Store with one of the following payment methods Visa, MasterCard or Amex."

Just as I thought in the first place, they don't support payments with gift cards if you use the Cards app.

At least now I know what the issue is, although I don't find it fair for the users that use gift cards. 😐

Something has happened over night as I seem to be able to purchase cards now. Might have been some muck up on card origin checks? God knows why you would worry about the origin of a credit card verses the origin of the iTunes account or individual for a product like greeting cards...

Hopefully it remains working...

Hopefully the cards make it to their destinations before Christmas (at least in the States where they seem to be printed - previous test card too 3 weeks to make it to Australia...)

I agree that there are still some major issues with this. I was able to get it to work the first day it was released, then the next day (after NO changes to my account) it gave me the error that everyone has mentioned. After changing around to several different credit cards, changing my address information, and changing my country back and forth, it finally worked about 3 weeks ago. Now I just tried again today (again, after no changes to my account) and it's giving me the same error.

I'm thinking now of creating a new appleID, associating a card to that and see if I get any results there. Extreamly frustrating.

I finally got it working! I tried several times with the Settings/general/international/regional... - never worked for me!

But i then went into the Settings/Shop/'Account ID'/and choose to see the Account - pressed the Apple ID under top Edit - here it stated that the Terms had chanced and i needed to re-insert my email adress under my Apple ID... When i inserted that - and tried again from the Cards app - it worked!!!

I've now sent a couple of Cards from both my IPad and iPhone - All working!!!!

Please review Apple suppor article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4990. The issue may not be with the Cards app, but with the method of payment.

"If you are having trouble placing your order, the payment method associated with your Apple ID may not be supported. Cards currently supports payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB only. You can change your payment method on your iOS device by tapping Settings > Store > Apple ID, or in your Apple ID account settings in iTunes > iTunes Store on your computer."
