The 3G symbol is not showing up on my home screen and I cannot browse the net, any suggestions?

reset the iphone

1. press the wake/sleep button the top until you get the red slider

2. Slide to power off

3. Wait for phone to power off (you get a spinning gear icon for a while)

4. press the wake/sleep button to turn in back on.

if that doesn't work reset network settings

1. Go to Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings

2. Confirm that you want to do this and the phone will restart itself

if that doesn't work restore the phone in iTunes, but you will want to sync all of your data before you do that.

Make sure you have the correct settings and enabled

You'll need to go to your network provider for them, or use good old google for them.

• Cellular Data Network

Once the correct fields have been entered make sure Cellular Data is turned to ON.
