missing "plus" sign within CONTACTS

I upgraded my wife's iPhone 3GS to iOS5; now the "plus" sign is missing under CONTACTS. I've tried to RESTORE; tried just about everything.

She can add a number/contact after she's called it - but not from the CONTACTS App.

Yes the email deletion/re-insertion thing worked for me too! Glad to see I was not the only one going crazy over not seeing the "+" sign.

Been fighting the touchscreen phone era for the longest and FINALLY decided to break in with the iPhone verses Android, and something as simple as not being able to add contacts easily like every phone down to the flip phone almost made me submerge the iPhone in a tub full of water!

I guess this makeshift bug workaround was hassle worth its weight and because I'm a professional programmer/developer I must reserve compassion for the dreaded task of sorting through lines of code to find and fix one thing only to break several others. I'm sure Apple will resolve this issue. Lol as it stands I'm already currently looking at a PC staring at me on the bottom of a full tub of water.

Motto: If it doesn't work drown it to assist and assure the statement will be forever (boolean) return true; Thanks Apple glad I didn't have to get you nice and wet 🙂
