Is anyone experiencing springboard crashes on the 4S?

I get about 3-5 springboard crashes per day on my iPhone 4S and NEVER had this issue on my iPhone 4 running IOS 5. What happens is at random times throughout the day, the screen goes black, the little sprocket starts to spin (just as it does when you power off the phone) and a few seconds later, I return to my pass lock screen.

Here is what is ANNOYING!!! When I am on a call when this happens, I temporary can't hear any handset conversation from the person on the other end until the sequence I explaned above has been completed. At that time, I can then hear my party speaking again. Went to the genius bar and they ran a few tests. Told me the music player, springboard, and mobileme were causing issues with my phone. Yeah apple, no kidding! They told me to erase all content and setup my phone as a new device, which I was reluctant to do but I did it anyways. Needless to say, the problem still exists! Frustrating..

Now it's turned out that this has affected all three of my iOS devices - iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4, and the iPad 1. It only happens when connected to a network (wi-fi on iPT and iPad, or 3G/wi-fi for iPhone). That's the only constant that I can find. If I turn the wifi off on my iPT and iPad, those same crashing programs are well-behaved. And when it crashes (with wi-fi on), it comes back in Diagnostics as a Springboard crash. (None of my shiz is jailbroken...) So WEIRD.

By the way, restoring works - I've done so on the iPad and iPhone 4 and both have been fine since. The iPod Touch can deal until a software update comes out.

For me the solution was to restore the phone completely. I restored to "new device". After that I loaded my backup from iCloud. Since than I had not one Springboard crash.

I had the crashes immediately after the launch of some apps. When I started the app after the Springboard crash again the was no crash. The crashs happened only in apps not by Apple.
