There are so many people complaining here and whe I post a possible solutions I get no feedback... 😕

For me it works without any problems from my iPhone 4S to my iHome iW1 and I´m sure it would also work with the Zeppelin if I had one. Did anybody try my recommended settings and has some feeback?

As i said, this is how i solved My problem, did anyone try it?

"My problem was that when i was streaming media from iphone to appletv2, it turned of airplay after exactly one minute. I started it again and after one minute it turned of agin. I had hard to belive that there was some problem within my router that would turn it of in exactly one minute. I solved it by turning off autolock in general settings, on my iphone 4s. No problem since then. Apparently some bug there when the screen turns off it also turns of airplay. I also tried to set autolock to 5 minutes and the airplay stopped after 5 minutes."

Just throwing my story into this mess.

I have a iPhone 4 (not 4S) and I have the same problem. Here's my setup:

iPhone 4 ==)) Airport Express ==)) Dlink router == Vidéotron modem

2 gen Apple TV ==)) Dlink router == Vidéotron modem

Computer == dlink router == Vidéotron modem

It started yesterday. I arrived home and my network was not working. I restored the dLink router and had to reconfigure everything (due to that I change the ISSD and password). It took me a while to reconnect the Airport Express (finally saw that you can do it with the iPhone). Updated the Airport Express to 7.6.

Afterwards, everything was golden. But, when I streamed a song to my Apple TV, it didn't play. All I got was: unknown artist, unknown song, unknown album. Afterwards, I tried to airplay the song to my Airport Express, it did not work. Suddenly, my whole wired and wireless network crashed. I could not access the internet from my apple TV (recent model), my iphone 4, my ipad 1 or my computer. I rebooted my dlink router and everything was fine.

I streamed a song from my computer to my apple tv and it worked (for 2 minutes since I stopped it myself). However, everytime that I try to airplay from my iphone 4 (did not try from iPad), my whole network crashes.

I though that it was my router that was broken. Can someone please confirm that this is not a router issue but a airplay issue since I was planning to purchase a Airport Extreme this weekend?

Thanks and hopefully we will get a solution soon!

I have the same problem. My setup:

MacBook

iPhone 4S

Denon DNP-720AE

Airport Extreme

Time Capsule

Apple TV

Streaming from iPhone 4S to the Denon DNP-720AE via Airplay fails - after a short time the connection fails, and I have to reconnect. The Denon DNP-720AE is connected to the wireless network - I have not tried a cabled connection yet.

Streaming from the Macbook to the Denon DNP-720AE via Airplay works fine and for a long time.

Streaming from iPhone 4S to Apple TV worked fine a couple of weeks ago, though there were some hickups when I was streaming photos from iPhone 4S to the Apple TV at the same time.

Hey everyone, first post here!

I thought I'd register on these forums and share some possible good news.

Like many of you, I've been more than annoyed by this iPhone 4S AirPlay situation. My setup: TC with 7.6 firmware, Zeppelin Air with 1.1.3 firmware. As a developer, I installed iOS 5.1 beta 2, and the issue seems to be gone.

I've been able to stream to my ZA for durations well above one hour, something that had never been possible before with my iPhone 4S. The ZA never got kicked out of the network again (the issue I was usually faced with).

This looks good. It would require extended testing though. Something I haven't had the chance to do. I hope we hear from more developers soon for confirmation iOS 5.1 beta 2 packs a long-awaited treat! 😉

Airplay was bringing down my entire home network after 15-45 seconds of playing music. It would crash whether playing from my iphone 3gs or my macbook pro.

My airport express was configured with wireless entirely OFF and was plugged directly into my router.

When i changed my wireless encryption from WPA2 TKIP to WPA2 AES the problem went away. (meanwhile airport express is still configured with wireless OFF)

How does THAT work? 😕
