This issue just started today...
My new iPhone 4S can not connect to any wifi. If i go into the settings, where you normally select your wifi, its greyed out and says "no wi-fi"
Whats going on?
iPhone 4, iOS 5, its a 4S, but thats not in the list
Have the same problem. Reset didn't work. I checked with the Apple reseller maintenance and they said this happened because your iphone 4s was fallen down!!!
They refused to replace it and have no solution. I'm from Jordan and the reseller is http://www.almunjed-itech.com/Web/Default.aspx

This happened to my AT&T iPhone 4s and they replaced it becaue it was a hardware issue

i) RESTORE UA IPHONE 4S USING ITUNES
click the restore icon in itunes after syncing ua iphone 4s
back up datas optn will b der ...so no worries about the loss of datas
ii) EVEN AFTR RESTORING THE WIFI ICON IS GREYD ON UA IPHONE
settings>general>reset>reset network settings
