good KVM for 2 Mac Minis

I've taken a look at threads and posts here on KVMs and Minis, but I don't see any clear winners as best KVM for a pair of Mac Minis.

The two I see mentioned most are iogear GCS632U and belkin flip. I have read about troubles with switching back to the first mac from the second. And it's not clear that software switching (key combo) is better than a physical switch.

I guess I'm posting to see if there are any new solid opinions about KVMs with regard to the issues discussed.

I've got this IOGEAR KVM and have used it switching back and forth between Mac/PC but have used it extensively with my mini/B&W G3 and had no problems whatsoever, I'd have no problem recommending the IOGEAR to anyone regardless of OS.

I have the Belkin Flip KVM. I am on my second one. They both exhibit this bizarre behavior. If the room temperature is below 67F the unit will flip to the other Mac randomly. If the temperature is about 72F then the CD will try to eject. Other than that I really like how just pressing [control] [control] on either Mac will flip.

I am ready to try a IOGear unit.

I don't think you are going to find an answer that specifically tells you which KVM is best for your Mac Mini setup.

Basically, what is important is whether the KVM switch behaves properly. If the KVM switch is built properly, then it won't matter what you plug it into.

Essentially, if it is a good KVM, then it will work with whatever you plug into it.

If it has issues, then it's going to have issues regardless of whether you are using it with PC's or Mac's.

So, ideally, what you need is to find a KVM that others have used without problems.
