Sure you can. As is word, power ptand excel will upload. All iwork docs also. PDF docs must be embedded in either word or pages. The thumbnail in cloud is a PDF, non- editable document. You can also embed photos in full resolution in either docs/pages, PowerPoint/keynote and they can be uploaded. Mac icloud is supposed to be photo ready by end of July.

Apple is making bad, bad mistakes. First, the super-sucky lion, that makes my computer seem like it's running Windows 95. I had to go back to the older Keynote version, because it was impossible to work. Now, no iDisk. Apple was supposed to be EASY, intuitive and fast. Now it is slow, cumbersome and it is being managed by Windows-minded individuals who seem to want to force us into products we don't want. I don't want to embed my QUicken file anywher. I want to upload it to iDisk (or cloud) and share it with whomever I need. For the first time, I am considering going back to PC after raving about Mac for five years. Steve Jobs must be turning in his grave. Apple is starting to suck badly.

So....let me get this straight. All the hoopla around the "iCloud" means we can no longer share video files on it? My wife is out of town with her family and wants to share a family video and it's compressed in a format for iPad and iPhone, but how do I share it with her remotely? iDisc was convenient for this reason. Am I missing something?

If I am wrong, please correct me...if I am right that we just went backwards in this upgrade, then I agree with May P....Steve is rolling over in his grave right now.

Also, I was told by Apple store employees that all iTunes material would easily be shared on iCloud....Now I find out that you need to pay $24.99/year to add this feature? Like Apple's not making enough money as it is?
