There is a Mac version and a PC version.
Are you asking whther the PC version can be used on a Mac?
actually it's the smartboard - interactive whiteboard used in classrooms
You need an adaptor DVI to VGA. The latter is what the interactive whiteboard has. DVI is what macbook has. I've connected mine through a simple adaptor I bought from ebay. Check that the picture of what you're buying has the same holes and pins as your sockets.

So does that make the old chalkboard a "dumbboard"? 😁
In Malta Hitachi starboard has been installed in all government school classes. It's an interactive whiteboard in principle, but unless I have an iPad app for it, I can only use the board as a screen for whatever I have on my ipad. So students can't interact with the stuff I put up on screen by using the special pen on the board.

I do have a mac-version of the hitachi software and I can use that if I take my macbook to school, but am trying to go light and carry less stuff round to classes so I prefer to use my iPad.
