My iCloud iCal shows up a wrong time

Thank you so much! I went through each of the steps (iOS, ical, and then mountain lion) and it worked. Really appreciate this fix.

not sure I you have same problem, but I have the 1 hour difference directly in the Calendar app on Mac, not just after sync. (The problem was solved when time zone support was set to off)

Any help with this please?

Why why why doesn't Apple solve this question definitely ? It doesn't have to do with Summer time safe or time zone management. It has to do with a BUG that Apple doesn't care to solve... In my case, and although Lisbon is in the same time zone as London, it keeps considering Lisbon as Central European Time when in fact is West European Time... So, if i choose Lisbon in Iphone or Ipad and create a new event in my ical in those devices, it keeps considering one hour more in appointments passed to Outlook !!!. However, if i create the event in Outlook it doesn't have any problem!!! So, the solution was to choose London in those devices and now there is no problem. Of course, I can't set the devices to automatically set the location any more... conclusion: Apple doesn't give a sh"" to these problems because they are americans and forget that there is a world outside their borders...

Solved the problem for me.

I turned my time zone support off, then on again. (I already had ot turned on which I think is not default). Sorted.

All of my calendar times were an hour off when I went to iCloud.com. I changed my timezone to Dallas instead of Guatemala (same Central Time Zone), and it worked.

My time zone was Ireland which is correct but also had the word standard. I fiddled about and found out how to drop the word standard and found that this solved my problem, Simple but I never would have discovered this. Thanks for the tip, regards, Niall

This isn't a bug, just poor design. Click a city that's in the same time zone as you and the problem is fixed.
