Factory unlocked iphone 4s???

I am in the same boat. I am on idea postpaid .. it is not working, I went to their HQ got a official Micro Sim still not working. Good news it tis working on VF prepaid .

Shift to that.

Mostly try using the proper MicroSIM.

Have read some instances where using a cut SIM doesnt work and using a 128bit Micro SIM resolved the issue.

SPOKE TO MY FRIEND IN APPLE INDIA, APPLE IS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHING APPLE iPHONE 4S IN INDIA ON 25th NOVEMBER AND THIS TIME ITS NOT A RUMOUR. AS MY FRIEND TOLD ME HE HAS RECEIVED AN OFFICIAL EMAIL FROM APPLE ABOUT THE LAUNCHING DATE. Secondly MOST OF US WHO HAD NO SIGNAL ISSUES, YES IT WILL BE WORKING ON ALL NETWORKS SUCCESFULLY IN JUST 1-2 DAYS MORE. SOME OF THE NETWORKS HAVE ALREADY BEEN UPDATED HENCE PEOPLE SEEING FULL BARS. APPLE HAS OFFICIALLY UPDATED ALL THE NEW IMEI SERIES (01300) FOR THE SIM OPERATORS IN INDIA. ALL SIM OPERATORS ARE ALREADY IN THE PROCESS TO UPDATE THE NEW IMEI SERIES FOR THEM TO BE SUCCESSFULLY REGISTERED. WE CRACKED THE ISSUE OF IMEI AND AND APPLE DID READ ALL OF THIS FORUM TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE DETAILS AND TRIED FIXING IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WILL UPDATE MORE INFO AS IT COMES TO ME.

LOL good question. According to my knowledge and info, iPhone 4S 16gb would be somewhere in between 35,000-40,000 and 32 gb shall be from 40,000-45,000 and 64gb shall be somewhere between 45,000-48,000. Plus Apple is also launching iPhone 4 8GB for around 28,000-30,000 on the same day 🙂

Is iphone 4s unlocked availaible in singapore??? I need to buy a16gb model and bring it to india( new delhi).. Will it work fine here in india??

Well I am not worried about the 16 or 32 or 64gig. I am worried about the iPhone 4S to work perfectly without any issues in INDIA. 😝 Rest we will see on 18th Nov and 25th November what happens. Adios

Dude please help. Same here - 32 Gigs iPhone4s bought from UK, brought to India, attempting to run on Airtel, in Delhi. It just says NO SERVICE. Its an airtel provided MicroSim, and not a cut one. Actually it is a Bangalore SIM, on romaing Delhi, but I guess that should be inconsequential, as far as getting reception and Displaying "Airtel" is concerned.

Im sure I am not the only one with this problem, as many others are struggling. You may be among the few lucky ones. But if you can help, then it'd be great for me and many more!

Same story with me , factory unlocked iphone 4S from UK. Not getting any bars, not able to make calls.

Am using Airtel in chennai ,, any idea whether vodafone , bsnl , aircel have fixed this issue ????

So frustrating - I have a iphone 4s bought from ther UK last week from the apple store and is factory unlocked. I inserted my Airtel SIM and I'm getting the 'No Service" message in the top left. Airtel support are as useful as a Chocolate Teapot and if I try to ask them to ensure my IMEI number is activated i might aswell be speaking in Swahili!

Has anyone managed to get around this problem?

Ive read a few posts that some phones have started to work in the last few days?
