Question mark where moon must be - Weather widget
When i go to the dashboard, the weather widget displays a blue square with a white questionmark in it a little top left of where the moon is supposed to be

The loss of that graphic may indicate damage to your Disk Directory. You should run a Disk Utility VERIFY DISK at your earliest opportunity. If there are problems found, you can do a simple repair just by restarting in Safe Mode (hold down Shift at startup) and waiting for it to check the disk and boot up.
More complex problems may require more serious measures.
This solved it for me:
Terminal commands:
sudo cp /Library/Widgets/Weather.wdgt/Images/Icons/moonphases/moon-13.png /Library/Widgets/Weather.wdgt/Images/Icons
sudo mv /Library/Widgets/Weather.wdgt/Images/Icons/moon-13.png /Library/Widgets/Weather.wdgt/Images/Icons/moon.png
