How do I hook up airport express to stream music to home stereo?

I'm getting an ipod touch, and want to stream music directly to my home stereo from my ipod touch/iphone without needing to have my computer on. I thought about a bluetooth device, but have been reading about the airport express. However, there's nothing in he manual which talks to using a touch alone; the manual indicates either the use of the apple tv or a computer.

I also read some issues involving verizon DSL; but not sure if hey have beenn fixed?

I just want to use the touch as my single music source while sitting in my living room chair, etc. so, what's the best approach?

Thank you

Yes, it is possible. However, it would be more likely that your PC would not be able to access the router at all, let alone the Internet, if it was a misconfigured firewall setting on the PC itself.

A couple of quick tests: 1) With the PC supposedly connected to the wireless network, can it "see" other network devices? If yes, then you have verified that it CAN connect to the local wireless network, and 2) Temporarily disable your Win7 software firewall. Can the PC access the Internet now?
