Create new e-mail address and apple ID

Hi

i have just had the same isse, i wished to change my complicated email address to a new apple one

but still keeping the original

after talking with apple support its quite simple

do the follwing

www.icloud.com

log in as usual

click on mail tab

then click on settings at bottom left, the cog looking icon

then preferences

then accounts tab

then add alias

then you can go to

composing tab and change the default address to the new one

so when you send an email it goes from the new one

To create a new Apple email you can:

In the mail program, click on 'Mail', top left, next to Apple logo.

Click 'Add Account'.

Click 'iCloud', then continue.

Click 'Create Apple ID'

Fill in location and DOB

Click 'Get a free iCloud email address'.

there are a few more steps, then you should be done.
