iPhone 4s location wrong... Why?

My location on my 4s is completely out, it says I'm about 30 miles away from where I actually am. It does this 90% of the time! And I'm not sure what I can do to fix it. My iPad 2 and other family members iPhone 4 on the same wifi etc. doesn't have any prOblems with this.

I'm sure it does. Thanks for replying.

I noticed it on my old G3 iPhone as well but on my new iPhone the problem was fixed as soon as I disabled Siri and restarted, "turn my phone off then back on" "not reset" my iPhone. Can't help but wonder why Siri is a problem? It's a cool idea but I haven't found A use for it yet, except to get anoid when I accidentally active Siri. ;)

Not to mention getting really interesting mis quotes.

I'm sure in the future Siri will be amazing, "Go Apple!" And hats off to all those folks participating in creating it!

Best wishes...

Glen, don't bump old threads...

Your ISP may have a Humble interchange which is why the location may be off.

Every now and then on my iPhone location reports it'll show up in Chicago and I live in Tennessee (and have never been to that area) why? The telco relay for Sprint sometime shifts between Kansas and and Chicago. 98% of the time it's actually in TN.

So it's not perfect, just manually set your home location for accurate local weather.

Yes, I live in Houston, not Humble. Maybe you guys at Apple/Yahoo have heard of it? It's a little town in Texas. Even if I type in my zip code, which is dead center in the middle of the sprawl, it puts me an hour north in Humble. This "fixed" itself like a month ago for one or two days then went back. This isn't rocket science people. At least add a place where people can submit bugs.
