iphone 4s is compatible with wind in italy??

I have bought an unlocked iphone 4s in US, and plan to use it with my wind sim card after comming back to italy. So should I give it back?!!!

Seems as if it is not only Wind who has the problem, but if so, I should return my phone!

I'm sorry, but i have an iphone 4s and wind and all ti's ok.

Well now i have a problem, after upgrated to 5.0.1 my 4S looses carrier while calling. but i think it's a firmware problem.

Wind is not supported (and this is a wind problem), but all works fine.

Remember to check in "Impostazioni" if you have set the correct APN server. You must set manually.

Fact: Wind is NOT a supported carrier for the iPhone.

Fact: we buy a unlock iphone!

Fact: Apple warns that trying to use an iPhone on a non-supported carrier's network "may" not work.

Fact: If Apple sell unlock iphones they must guarantee the perfect work with all carriers, otherwise they will sell the phone link to a specific carrier/s and reduce the prices

Fact: This is NOT an Apple problem. This is a Wind problem & needs to be resloved by Wind.

Fact: Wind can't solve the problem if Apple doesen't communicate the release of new version of iOS in time.

Since we can buy a phone without any carrier Apple has the duty to give the same possibility to all carriers: ths a free marketplace

Ah...you're missing one very important detail...Apple doesn't own Wind's network, Wind does. Therefore, it's up to Wind to insure compatibility, not Apple. Apple merely makes the phone.

é una vergogna non risolvere questo problema dopo un mese....qui è davvero da fare una bella causa..............se campava la bonanima di steve jobs avrebbe risolto il problema al 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stesso problema, ho comprato il 4s, prima avevo il 4, mai nessun problema, bella cagata che ho fatto a comprare sto catorcio che oltre tutto è poco differente dal 4....

La batteria dura meno di un giorno, ora IMPROVVISAMENTE si è messo a non riconoscere più la sim WIND.

Spesi 660 euro per un telefono, si spererebbe di non avere problemi di questo tipo!!!

Passerò al Galaxy S 2 e ciao ciao Cupertino, tanto senza Jobs i problemi di questo tipo andranno solo a moltiplicarsi...

Ah per vostra informazione ho aggiornato alla versione 9A406 e non è cambiato niente, evitatevi lo sbattimento di scaricare 800 MB di software e rischiare di schiantare il telefono (cosa che succede 1 volta su 2).

Se chiamate il servizio clienti WIND dice che la APPLE afferma che fare l'upgrade alla 9A406 risolve il problema, di conseguenza questo è quello che loro dicono a chi telefona lamentandosi...

Loro (wind) non stanno facendo niente per risolverlo e non hanno in cantiere NIENTE (parole dell'operatore wind).

Quindi l'unica soluzione è cambiare una delle due cose, o telefono o operatore.

A voi la scelta della meno traumatica...

La mia storia, potrebbe esservi utile:

- Chiamo Wind e mi dicono di aggiornare a 9A406; io dico: già fatto e che non c'è niente da fare, cambio operatore, e loro: eh...ok.

- Chiamo apple e mi dicono che le SIM tagliate non sono supportate dal 4s, cosi la cambio, 10 euro buttati, stesso errore

- RI-Chiamo apple, e mi dicono di ripristinare il cell come nuovo iPhone e ripristinare manualmente il backup: stesso errore

- RI-Chiamo apple e mi dicono che me lo cambiano (il cell), ma che la cosa potrebbe non risolversi lo stesso allora prima di menarmelo con corrieri e altre amenità

- Provo scheda TIM, ricezione perfetta per 3 giorni

- cambiato operatore in TIM, ciao ciao Wind

In conclusione pollice verso per apple che vende un cell come UNLOCKED ma che in definitiva non va con operatori che non si sono adeguati alle modifiche apportate al 4s.

Pollice verso per Wind che continua a non adeguarsi, perdendo clienti...

I have bought my 4s in US unlocked, and it works perfectly fine with wind in Italy. I heard in the begining that there might be some problems. But I didn't have any problem. You should just go to a wind shop, and ask for a micro sim card, which will cost you 10 Euros.

Good evening, I have the same problem even when I do not feel I am speaking for a few seconds then resumes communication ... I also tried to reset and restore the iphone 4s but the problem is always ... you have any solution?
