I recently purchased an iphone 4s in Singapore..
It worked both with my Singapore Sim card as well as my Indian sim card..
However upon my arrival in India my iPhone 4s has stopped working..
It says no service..
though it asks me to setup my sim card settings..stillit says no service..it even detects the carrier..
Really need help here..

Are you using your iPhone with a supported carrier in India? Have you tried a different SIM?
Yes i'm using it is with a supported carrier..
lyk i said earlier...The same Indian sim wa working with the iphone in Singapore..
i am currently having the exact same issue, differant device: locked ATT 4s. and not working in the Delhi area. we have been told to turn off wifi (seems kind of odd - we will see...) still learning if the 4s even works in Inida at all... has anyone else heard of this or other international roaming issues with the 4s? voice and data? (all international roaming has been confirmed to be enabled, worked on 4 a couple weeks ago without issue)
