Beats By Dr. Dre Studio iPhone 4 problem

Hi,

I recently bought a pair of beats by dr. dre studio headphones to listen to music on my iPhone 4 but I'm having some problems:

The isonitalk (play/pause button) doesn't work and for some reason randomly adjusts the volume but I have tryed these headphones on my fathers HTC and the headphones work perfectly including the play/pause button.

My iPhone is running IOS 5.0

anyhelp?

I found a way to temporarily fix it. This works for as long as the iSoniTalk cable is plugged in. Once it is taken out you'll have to do it again.

1. Plug in the iSoniTalk Cable into your iPhone.

2. Hold down the answer phone button on the wire for about 10-12 secconds.

3. Your iPhone should work with the iSoniTalk cable for the rest of the time it is plugged into your iPhone.

I hope this helped some of you. It definitely helped me. I was getting ****** off because of this after spending almost $400 on a pair of headphones. Apple still definitely needs to fix this bug in th iPhone 4.

I bought the Beats Tour earphones in Jan 2012 and they worked perfectly on my Iphone 4G until I updated to IOS 5. Then the talk/play button stopped working and the volume starting randomly changing just as the original poster described. Based on that, I have to conclude it is the firmware upgrade. The earphones were terrific up until the upgrade.

I received beats studio headphones for xmas 2012. Using them with my macbook pro if I put the volume up halfway or even a tad higher they screech and distort and kill your eardrums, then when you unplug them they continue to make these crazy sounds.

I tested them on my iphone 4s, same thing. I listen to a track for a few mins and they do the same thing.

When I plugged them into my ipod though (and my ipod is old school probably almost 10 years old now) they worked fine.

Im using the red cable that comes with them. They are still under warranty and im assuming that the problem is either with my mac or with the headphones but i can't tell which.

After reading all of the comments on here though i've noticed a lot of people are in the same boat, so it could possibly be apple and not the headphones.

I too got a pair of Beats but they are Solo. They work perfectly in my Ipad2 which is running on IOS 6.0.1. The full control function works yet when I use my iphone 4 (also working off IOS 6.0.1) the control function doesnt work.

I'm using the red cable that came with it. I can only assume its an apple problem?
