iPhone 4S apps crash/fail constantly

Many times when I click on an app, the app opens and then immediately crashes. I then have to reopen the app again for it to work.

Is anyone else experiencing this? It seems to be happening to almost all of my apps.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5, Siri

the 4s is now... 5/6 years old. most apps are tested on newer models with more recent phones. Compare it to trying to run brand new software on a PC made in 2002. It's not going to work.
