itunes artwork screensaver not working

i keep getting the message 'your itunes library does not contain any songs with artwork' whenever i try to choose the screensaver. I looked al over apple discussions for a solution and none worked. I did use a previous itunes library from windows to make my current library.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2), 2010 13 inch

Searching, I found the cause of the problems. The "Voice Memos" in iTunes are causing the problem with the iTunes Artwork screensaver.

The solution is very simple. You have to remove all voice mesanjes that are within the iTunes folder and delet them on the iTunes library.

I did and it worked perfectly. The funny thing is that I forgot to turn off the option to synchronize voice messages on my iPhone, I did a sync and voice messages back and failed again the screen saver.

NOTE: Do not forget to disable the sync voice messages

I have just purchased a new Imac running 10.8 mountain lion, after loading new songs into itunes I too had no screen saver working showing the art work.

This had nothing to do with voice memos, no other items were connected so have tried this method and it works twice on both computers, the other is running leopard.

If all your music is on the main hard drive, check in finder and your itunes folders should be in music, all I did was make a new folder and call it music 2, make sure its under music on the left hand side, drag the itunes music folder containing only the music into this. From this go to itunes in applications delete itunes into trash, restart computer then download the latest version. When all opened up you should get a home page showing get music from icloud or scan for media, press scan and let the new version find it on your computer, when finished go to screen saver settings and notice the itunes screen saver working.

I don't know why this works either its a software fault with apple or just my luck, but I have had no problems since and looks greats on the screen.

I have a similar issue in that while I have a large iTunes library and all songs have artwork for some reason the screensaver will only display a handful of covers, it is as if I suddenly have a library with like 10 albums most of which are podcasts (if that matters) rather then the large library I do have. Reprinting iTunes to the library did not resolve the issue nor did deleting all my voice memos.

Running 10.8.4

iTunes 11.0.4

I've had the same problem as you. It seems that the only artwork available to the screensaver is the one attached to the music you have on disk, not what you have on iTunes Match. At some point, I decided to erase all the music from my computer (because I had not enough space to work). That broke my screensaver artwork. I solved this by downloading one song from each album I liked.
