Can you stop iMessage using some wifi connections?

I use my iPhone at school and I connect to the wifi. The school block some ports and website (games, **** etc.) but they also block the port (i think) that iMessage uses so I'm unable to send/receive messages. Is there any way to tell iMessage not to use this wifi connection?
