who have problems after ios5.0.1 updated?

Sorry to hear that it is not just me having issues with the 4s.

I am so diasppointed with the dropped signal, wifi & battery drain issues, this is yet another black mark against a brand that I trust. I am saddened by the fact that these issues should have been ironed out BEFORE launch.

Looks to me like Apple is going the same way Nokia went when I had an N97, I sold it & NEVER went back.

My next phone will be an HTC for sure

My iPhone won't even re-activate after I downloaded it - so I've got a phone that doesn't even work!

Mine did the same thing. still isnt working. Started to do the update then error. Now stuck on the update screen on my phone and cant restart it.

My 3GS is absolutely f*cked! I've got an appointment with Apple tomorrow - will let you know how it goes!

Battery draining faster than before and can not access the app store. I am starting to become disappointed with my first iPhone. Why can't they just resend the ios5.0 back so we can get rid of this awful update.

My 4s worked flawlessly as well untill the ios 5.0.1 update, now its constantly searching for signal and glitching. This is stupid... apple u need to fix this problem immedietly.

After I upgraded to iOS 5.1 battery really *****... this is even draining out faster than while using iOS 5.

Earlier I used to get full signal while at home but now this is dropping quite frequently.

Apple Tech Team, please look into this, such a nice hardware cannot have such a stupid software.......

I am also having issued with home WIFI which is very weak. Other WIFI's in my building pop up and seem to offer a stronger signal than my own WIFI 5 meters away from me !! I have also just noticed that when my phone is under charge, the WIFI signal is better. Have disconnected the phone and and lo and behold the Wifi signal bars go down again !

Have exactly the same problem since the update. Called my service provider and they said it was due to the update and they have to wait for apple to release the 5.0.2 so are they going to pay for the loss of business that will affect me. ??

This is really a disaster Its not a "phone for Steve (4s) its a phone for scrap metal

Since the update, my battery is not holding a charge. It was fine before, and I am kicking myself for doing the update. I did receive notice that there was a "fix", so I did that as well. My battery life is worse. I am not using the phone, and battery life went from 97% to 18% in less than 2 hours. And I had turned the "location services" off as recommended by many others. Also having problems connecting to apps and my home wifi service. I just put in a request for someone to call me on this site, and asked that an exception be made (so I don't have to pay for the service call). I will see if they call me on Monday morning. Went to ATT, they said there is nothing they can do. Meanwhile, I am traveling all week with a useless phone. Apple should be sending out a credit for everyone affected, assuming this ever gets fixed!!!

Ios 5.0.1 update issue.....So I completly restored my phone to normal and then restored from back up, I did that twice and now my 64GB iPhone 4S is working proparly again... Give it a shot.

I should not have updated to Ios 5.0.1. The battery on my iphone drains to 75% from 100% in less than 4 hours without any usage. Rather than fix a problem, Apple created a problem for me.

I'm stuck with the connection problems--- I lose signal after every text message and keep getting the "Invalid SIM" warning.

Like others it was fine on 5.0

On an iphone 4s 64gb

After updating to iOS 5.0.1, my iPhone 4 is not being detected at all by iTunes. Not charging and not being detected. Resetting the phone not helping. I cannot revert to iOS 5.0 and cannot charge the phone. Quite at my wit's end. I wonder whether I would be panicking if I was a critical user with a dead phone.

Even if the 5.0.2 version is out soon, I don't know how I will upgrade the phone to that version since as my (techo) brother in law said, " You've got a brick". Ha!

If and when the update 5.0.2 does come out it should not be necessary to plug your phone into iTunes The update should appear directly on the phone on one of the icons (apple store I think) and then just download it from via the phone. Thats how I got the ****** 5.0.1
