iCloud Mail is down again

yup still down on my end.

Relax. iOS 6 is coming out along with a line of new products. You are lucky iCloud is going on and off instead of just staying off for the day. You can't move technology into the future without rebuilding the past.

ECM50, I'm using Tuffmail for the mail forwarding part, it costs a little ($2.40/month), but they have been the most realiable I have found. I just use the mail fowarding feature, no mailboxes so it's cheap. Have never had any down time (at least not that I've noticed) over the last 8 years!

There are some free alternatives I'm sure, or if you host a website somewhere, you can usually configure mail forwarders with cpanel or a similar administration panel.

I just got a surge of over 20 emails from yesterday all at once lol looks like the hamster is back on its wheel

Mine appears to be going back up, a flood of e-mails just came in. The server(s) are definitely back online but the backlog is probably being throttled--my guess is they have to turn on the affected accounts in succession (1-99, 100-199, 200-299, etc.) so it doesn't overload the server with everyone downloading their e-mail at once.

iCloud is working all too well. I have unsubscribed from every notification option for this thread that I possibly can, and continue to get a stream of replies that now exceeds 100 messages.

Agreed. Same here.

My account has been back on since about 3:30 PM PDT. But my last day and a half of email is still being sent to me. What I'm getting is not in cronological order and is now stamed with the time it is being sent to me.

Mine has continued to work fine!

Plz keep checking this link to know the status of iCloud Sever maintenance.
