I bought the 4S 2 weeks ago and was working fine, other than battery issues. Siri working fine on mine but voice to text or emails is epic fail. 3 dots forever. restarting the phone does not help. This problem arose today. At first, I switched to wi-fi, and it worked temporarily. Then it stopped working altogether. very very frustrating. If it's not fixed by tomorrow, I'm going to Occupy the Apple Store until they give me a working 4S

Same here, I've had mine for about 3 weeks. This is my first iPhone as I've always been Sprint customer. I've been really impressed up to now. Confused as to how it can work for 3 weeks and then all of a sudden stop working. The voice SMS was the feature I use the most by far. Come on Apple, get your stuff together. I'd like to think they are working around the clock to get this issue fixed.

Occupy the apple store ba ha ha ha. For sure. I'm with you on that. And yeah someone at apple better be working on this right now. Someone's better be speeding into the office right now to fix this for fear of being fired on Monday.

Ok here is an update. I just left my house and my phone switched from wifi to 3G and my voice to text is working perfectly. Same with my wife's phone. When I get home I will try again in wifi and post back another update.

Wondering now what the problem really is. Is it the os on my phone or apple or my wireless. I will try resetting my wireless it should be fine. I can still watch vids at home and stuff so I know the link is working.

Well add me too. Worked most of the day, stopped working about an hour ago. Nice phone.

Add me to this list. Both of our new 4s phones stopped working with the SMS voice feature. Siri still good. Doesn't work on wifi or 3G. *****. I just shelled out a lot of money for them and to upgrae to Lion on my mac so everything would work together. Get it together, Apple. Come on.

My first apple product...so excited that I got 3 people to buy the same phone (4s)...have owned it for about a month, today the voice recognition decided to stop working as well, called apple support and they told me to restart, reset, etc... nothing worked, then I was told that "Siri is Beta and not perfect program, we are working on it and I can't tell you when it will be working properly again"...am I the only one that thinks this is very poor customer service?

Hi everyone- I started having the same problem today as well. I disabled Siri (under general settings) and waited for about a minute, then enabled it again and my voice to text was back working fine. I'm not sure if it was a coincidence or not but takes just a few seconds and is less trouble than resetting the entire phone. Good luck!
