voice recognition has stopped working

The voice recognition on my iphone 4s worked fine for about a week, for texting, siri ect. Now for some reason it has completely stopped working. When talked it appears to pick up my voice, but no text is produced. Any ideas?

voice recog has been a miserable experience; have spent countless hours with tech support to no avail; they have always been very pleasant but no resolution to my problems; voice commands are worthless; cannot say for example "call office" without some outlandish crap being dialed; also does not have the feature my old windows phone had when an incoming call comes in; the option to verbal command "ignore or answer"; basically this is an expensive piece of junk; for all the pretty bells and whistles it does not do its job; PERIOD!, would never ever purchase another apple phone again, EVER!!
