Is there any way to sync POP mail between iOS and Mac devices via the cloud?

You need an IMAP email account. IMAP precludes the need for iCloud as it automatically keeps all your devices in sync because all messages are retained on the server. There's no way to make a POP email account work like iCloud..

Your .me account is IMAP.

You'll have to check with Comcast to see if they offer IMAP email.

I ended up forwarding my pop account (Cox) to my .me account. That way, I didn't have to send out any email address change notifications as both accounts worked. I then deactivated my Cox account on all my devices but left it on them in case I wanted to use it for whatever reason. When I forwarded my Cox email, my setting was to leave the email on the Cox server as a safety valve.

When I send mail from my mobile devices, it comes from my .me account. Same for my mac. But, I don't care because no matter which email the recipient responds to, I get the response.

I use my .me account now as my primary account, but I have a ton of folks who still use my cox account as my primary email address. Most don't even know which account the email is being directed to.
