have had this ipod touch less than a week & today the camera is a copmplete black screen. when I push a button on the side it will take a pic that you can see in the camera roll. I can not find any settings for the camera please advise

Try the standare fixes:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
No info will be lost!!
1. Double Tap your home button
2. Find Camera, hold down icon until it shakes, hit the button in the corner of the icon.
3. Repeat the same process for other apps that use the camera.
Example: FaceTime, Camwow
4. Open Camera
*if this doesn't work take it to apple or do a restore in iTunes.
The same thing is happen ing to me but it seems to come and go
The solution for this is easy, all you have to do is turn the iPod/iPhone off and then back on. I used to have the same problem.
Add me to the list, even after 2 reboots it still happens occasionally ... not good ... I've only had ot for 3 days
