hey i bought a 4s and i cannot activate it i dunno on what carrier it is but when i start it with a vodafone SIM it shows me 3g and signal bars but still cannot bypass activation.It says please enter a valid sim card,i need help please!

Settings>General>About. It should be printed on the box, but if you purchased it with a Gevey SIM installed, there's no reason to believe the phone matches what's on the box.
i cant get to settings it says i need to insert a valid SIM Card. What is a Gevey Ultra card anyways? Sorry i am so not savey with all this stuff so all this help is awesome! I want this done legit and if that card is illigal i want it removed and i want the phone set up right

If you are unable to activate the phone, you can not do so.
Is there any chance you can return it for a refund at this point? You would be better off to purchase one from a legitimate source.
also it came with a sim card that looked like it was cut to fit. is that normal
