Has anyone else had an audio issue with notifications, alerts, playing music through the onboard computer?
I have called apple and been giving the run around as well as the " well this is the first issue like this" crap and was wondering if anyone out there has experienced random no audio problems with the new iPhone 4s.

I have audio issues too - any videos I play back will not have sound. Also, the volume icon will appear when I press the side buttons, but the level is not shown. The only way I can change the volume is through settings. I have performed several troubleshooting attempts: shutting down the phone, shutting off the phone, changing settings, using a different docking station, ear plugs in / out, etc. I watched a video with sound on saturday morning, updated to IOS 7.0.3, and later that day I tried to watch the same video and the sound did not work. I also took a new video and was not able to hear the audio.
The docking port controls a lot of things, I've had to replace 2 phones because of it and this new one less than a week, is having sound issues as noted in these posts.
1 point I wanted to make, with the screen facing up if you look in the port above the connectors you see a white bar goiing across, if the middle square had turned red, you need a new phone.
I suggest cleaning the port every few days with a very soft brush.
