Some time back I made a small film on a ''normal'' computer- a PC and now that I switched to Apple i cant seem to play the file...What to do?? I am not so advanced in the world of IT and certainly not MACs so any help and advice is much appriciated...

Thanks, I think this migiht be it...i dowloaed to free version and installed the elements but then i am not sure what to do? And when i try to open my quick time player nothing seems to happen- what ma i doing wrong..?

What is the file extension used in your Windows Movie Maker file?
What happens when you double click on it?
it says that no application to open this file. I am not sure what you mean by extension. It says: unix executable file...
somthing else that seems strange to me is that it says that it is only 2,6 MB, but the film is almost 30 min long...did something happen to its size when i moved it?

Yep. Impossible to have a 30 minute video in a 2.6MB .exe file.
Sigh...so i am not anywhere closer to know what to do...?
but why cant i open the quick time player? it bounces like it is going to open but nothing happens...
