Has anyone managed to get WebDav working 10.7.2 Server
I did manage it to work, did really nothing special, just enabled WebDav under File Sharing in the Server app. However, there is a bug in the WebDav implementation that prevents from moving/renaming files/directories. I opened the case with Apple and they saw the issue as well but gave me no ETA on the resolution.

Are you able to connect to WebDav shares with accounts other than the admin?
yes, although those accounts have admin privs.
I've managed to set it up and it works for accounts defined on the local machine (the Mac server), but
I can't connect to WebDAV for accounts defined in our Active Directory server. It looks like the
authentication works, but I get error log messages like:
Unable to authenticat for URI "/webdav/--username--: from user "--username--" for realm "UserWebDAV Gateway"
Authentication failed (details unavailable)
Anyone have any ideas?

I have the same issue
I have the same issue in OS X Server 10.8
Same issue here! saw something about longname in the config is set to fals but changing to true did not fix problem. Very odd since I can use SMB and AFP with domain accounts without issues. Running 10.8.2. Hope they resolve this as it seems to not allow any but local accounts to auth over WebDav.
May want to look at my post.

I managed to get OD users to login by correcting a syntax error, though I can't get the corrections to stick after bouncing the File Sharing service.
