All photos upside down!

When I import photos and videos to my PC with windows 7 x64 and view them in photo viewer they're all upside down. I try to rotate them in photo viewer but some of them get "Windows Photo Viewer can't save the changes to this picture because there's a problem with the picture's file properties" error. What can I do, if anything?

iPhone 4S, Windows 7

Hi ppl.

I know this has reached 3 pages now, but this debate debacle has also reached 8 pages in this thread - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3431867. If you all post in there from now on Apple might see a massive thread about his issue and so might get off their ***** and fix it.

Also make sure to complain to apple here:

Well so much for iOS 5.1. It didn't fix the upside down Photo and Video problems. If you take a picture or video with the iPhone held so that the volume control buttons are on top, like Apple suggests, to use the volume + button as a shutter button then the pictures and vieos will be upside down when you put them on your PC. They are orientated correctly in the phone but not corrected when they are remove by iCloud or USB. Apple needs to fix this. One other thing Apple needs to fix is when you send a phot in an e-mial they drop the 'img_xxx.jpg' nmae and call it 'photo.jpg'. If you send several e-mails to a person then when they go to remove the pictures they have to rename them since each one is named 'photo.jpg', why doesn't Apple just send the 'img_xxx.jpg' name? They sort of do it with videos (except it is incremented in number for some unknow reason).
