All the items that come with FCP X are copyright free and you can use them in any way you wish professionally and commercially.

These include all the effects, music clips, themes etc. etc.

I am not quite sure what you mean by "logos" as to the best of my knowledge there aren't any in FCP X, you have to make your own using the tools and media that come with the app.

I have no idea what you mean.

Maybe someone else understands and can clarify the matter?

What is fact is that anything you create using anything found in FCP X is completely copyright free, especially ready made titles and lower thirds etc.

The only possible exception I can think of is if you used a copyrighted logo such as a Coca Cola one in your title, but that is not part of FCP X of course.

What I mean is YouTube wants me to show them written proof in a apple license document that the items are indeed copyright free. For instance my last vid I had to show YouTube the license agreement for GarageBand because they wanted proof that the loops from GarageBand were free to use commercially. I don't see a license agreement for final cut pro x.

Thanks Tom, I must have seen that window every time I launched the app and never realised the EULA was kept there.

Having skimmed through it, the thing appears as clear as mud but I can't believe that all the media that is included with the app is not copyright free as otherwise it would make FCP X completely useless.

The old FCP 7 EULA seemed a lot clearer and said in no uncertain terms that everything on the FCS 3 discs could be used in any way in the production and distribution of a film/video project.
