Do you have internet access? Open Safari and try to access a website, or open your mail application and see if you can send and/or receive email.
I have Internet access and was able to browse the internet
Has anyone ever noticed that iTunes are extremely slow at resolving problems?
I keep getting emails thanking me for my patience.
At the very least I would like to know a timeframe for resolution, or a reason for the delay. Not hard really, it's basic customer service!
Restore your device (after backing it up).
iTunes ***** dik, they have more downtime in a month than I have turds...disappointing

I love your response! 😁
Have you ried this workaround?
Go to settings>general>date and time>automatically.off. Change the date to some time in the future - a year or so ahead. See if you can connect to the iTunes Store that way.
The date trick worked for me.
Thank you! this trick did work.
You're welcome. I did love your response! 😁 Had me LMAO!
I had to set the date to the future then set it back to automatic to be able to FINALLY connect to the iTunes store on my iPad 2.
Thanks to all. The date auto off, date change, date auto on, solved the problem. Deanna
I have the same problem(can browse app store but can't open the update section cause it keep saying "cannot connect to itunes"), tried changing date, auto off & on, shut down the iPhone 4S & restarted but nothing has changed 😟
what's killing me is that it's working fine on my iPad & iPod!
please help 😟😟😟
IT worked with the resetting of the time. Thank you
But why should we have to do this?
Why won't it work using current time and date?
I am having the same problem and have tried to reset date and time and it still won't work ... Any other suggestions?
