multiple copies of ms office
I bought an iMac with MS office on it. Can I install this MS Office to may macbook air too?
ms office for mac-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
Only If it came with more then one user license. A family pack comes with 3 installs.

If you purchased the academic package then it comes with three serial numbers. If you purchased the standard package it comes with one serial number. For the latter you would need to purchase additional licenses from MS. Office applications are network aware meaning that as soon as one starts running then a second instance will refuse to run unless it has a different serial number.
Thanks very much for both of you above. I bought this iMac from Apple store w/o any academic package. I guess it is just stardard package. In that case, it only has one license. Maybe not allowed to install on another machine.
