Cant verify Apple ID

I created a new Apple ID.

System requests that I check mail to verify

I check mail

Click on link that takes me to verification page

I enter info

I get:

"This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID."

If I try to manage apple ID it says I need to verify.

I click on send verification email.

I check mail

Click on link that takes me to verification page

I enter info

I get:

"This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID."


...and again and again...


ANY IDEAS?

I think that it must be everyone I got 2 new ipods ready to set up for christmas and NOPE

Every time I try and I set up a totally NEW EMAIL so there is no way?!?! APPLE COME ON!!!!

This is very tiresome and aggrevating.


I've been using apple products since the first gen mac book pro came out, even used the same .mac id until I had to update. Never had any issues until now.


Got stuck in the loop because I wanted to update my old AppleID to an up to date email address.


Now I'm stuck in the "This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID." loop.


Its really dissapointing to see the lack of concern/support from Apple. 😐


And now on top of it, I JUST lost all my contacts on my iPhone4. Awesome.

Exactly the same here, England. I made the mistake of daring to change my email address and now it won't let me verify it for iCloud, getting the same script as everyone else. Thankfully I can still log in to iTunes/apps etc as that verification worked earlier on today - the 2nd time I tried, I did get the error the 1st go. I can't get it through this afternoon for iCloud though. Only just had this iPhone too. Not a total Apple convert yet then...
