Cant verify Apple ID

I created a new Apple ID.

System requests that I check mail to verify

I check mail

Click on link that takes me to verification page

I enter info

I get:

"This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID."

If I try to manage apple ID it says I need to verify.

I click on send verification email.

I check mail

Click on link that takes me to verification page

I enter info

I get:

"This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID."


...and again and again...


ANY IDEAS?

I have the same problem. After crediting my newly created iTunes account tonight using a $20 iTunes gift card, I was asked to verify my email address. I received the Apple email, clicked on the link and entered my email address and password as requested. Then I got the message that "This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID." Since I couldn't verify my email address, I was locked out of my iTunes account and my $20 credit can't be used. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I have tried to fix the problem for the past 4 hours by changing the ID email address (even using newly created email accounts) and the password. But all this has achieved is to block any possibility to use these email addresses in future for iTunes because they are forever classified as Apple ID's but without any password or profile. Apple, please verify my email address - obviously it is correct because I clicked on the link within your email to access your site. If you can't do that, PLEASE REFUND MY $20.

I called customer service in Poland and they were not officially aware of that problem. When I said there is more than 60 people already having the problem they answered that still that number is not a significant and if there is more people maybe they will get some information from their HQ sent.


I've searched through some forums and I found out a similar problem that was experienced after the iphone 4S came out. It was said the problem was due to overload of Apple's servers.


But is it the same this time?

Same here:

I am trying to sign up for a new Itunesaccount.


The system sends me an e-mail to verifymy e-mail address.

When I try to sign in with the linkprovided in the e-mail it says:


Thisemail address is already in use or you may already have an Apple IDassociated with this email address. Please try again or sign in usingyour existing Apple ID.


I try and sign in to Itunes with myApple ID and it sends me to the e-mail verification.

same thing is happeing to me. i havent even slept yet... been working on it since 2am and its 913am now... ***! i purchased iTunes Match at 2am then i find out i couldnt use it b/c it is associated with another ID! now this !!! what a waste of 3 month subscription and a waste of my time. APPLE, ARE YOU GETTING TOO BIG TO KEEP YOUR PRODUCT CONSISTENT?
