Cant verify Apple ID

I created a new Apple ID.

System requests that I check mail to verify

I check mail

Click on link that takes me to verification page

I enter info

I get:

"This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID."

If I try to manage apple ID it says I need to verify.

I click on send verification email.

I check mail

Click on link that takes me to verification page

I enter info

I get:

"This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID."


...and again and again...


ANY IDEAS?

Same issue here... it was to be a nice present for my wife... as I try to set her iphone4s up for facetime, her apple id can not verify the email address

I even went through the hassle of creating a new gmail account and I GOT THE SAME RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!


How can be the last email address/userid being used if it is new, how can the original one not be verifiable either if we are getting the emails for verification??????????


I have been able to get into the "Manage Apple ID" web page and reset the password three times. It does NOT work.


Hopefully they provide a solution. It is frustrating, trying to make a good impression with my wife of HOW SIMPLE AND EASY IS TO DEAL WITH APPLE PRODUCTS AND I'M FAILING MISSERABLY...

I'm having the same problem.

Someone suggested that it might have something to do with you establishing mobile.me account in the past or installing itunes before. For me it didn't help though...


It is simply crazy! I've just spend 1000USD (that is the price of the IPad in Poland) and can't install any single software! This is unbelivable.


And now no customer service support!!
