ipod nano 1st gen replacement program

Hello

I read about the problems and the program online and applied and was found that my nano is part of those affected.

Received confirmed email that a package was being sent out but i applied on sun 13th november and have not received

this package for this whole week, Apple said to expect it with 2 business days. If i have not received the package within the expected time

stated how can i send it back within the 10 days time limit they've placed to resend the nano to them?

Does anyone know what mail service they are using to send the nano replacement package out to customers in the UK?

I'm guessing it's probably royal mail (-_-)*

What is the best thing to do, as i don't want to keep a ticking time bomb around the house, and the email is sent from don't reply address?

So there is no way to contact them from my personal replacement status page, hence why i have posted here for any advice please?

Thanks in advance

In October 2012 I first signed up for the replacement program. I submitted the request online and receive an email telling me to expect a shipping box to come in the mail. I waited until January 2013 and hadn't heard anything, so phone Apple. The person on the phone wasn't familiar with the Nano replacement program, but to their credit did some research to get me an answer. I had to wait on hold for a while, but the end result was a promise to get a shipping box to me. They setup a new service request, and I recieved the box in a couple days. I packaged my old Nano and sent it back the next business day, and received back the replacement within about 3 business days. I was very impressed to have the service to that quickly once it was started (shipping from Ontario to Saskatchewan and back so fast). The replacement was an iPod Nano 6th generation with 8 GB RAM. No cords or headphones were included. Hey, one can't complain about having an old 1GB Nano whose battery had failed replaced with a newer 8GB Nano at no charge. Thanks Apple.

I guess I am the first to post from 2014 on this. I filled out the link requesting the replacement and a day letter got a grey bag from apple for me to place the ipod and free shipping label.I posted the next day and it has been about 8 days now and my status still says package has been shipped to me and not the ipod has been recieved at Apple. No idea if this will change soon as getting worried
