kernel panics

My machine is having kernel panics, Its so unstable that hard to predict what went wrong. Here are few things that I have tried so far but no luck!

0) Cleared all the system/application cache/logs

1) Fixed the disk permissions using Disk utility

2) Repaired the system files while running the Snow Leopard installation without formatting the drive

3) Tried safe-boot

Its just so unsubtle that I will get kernel panic on average of 30 minutes to few hours (max 6 to 10 hours). The panic can happen even with free RAM upto 50%. I have submitted so many crash reports to apple but never heard a thing.

Really, don't want to do clean installation. Any thoughts?

Finally, I have figure out for time being. Its one faulty ram module. Really, its always good to start with basics. I have been in so much pain with this simple thing. Apple delivered to new modules.

I think for time being it will work but eventually motherboard should be replaced because of its malfunctioning video chipset.

Just an OT:

I did backup of iTunes with reference to this http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1449 and now i want to restore my iTunes back. Somehow I am unable to get playlists back in ITunes. Any thoughts for that? I don't care for anything else as i can do manually but really need my playlists back.
