Is an Ipad considered a computer?
I wanted to know if an Ipad is considered a computer or what the correct category it fits in. Thank you for any help!
Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!

Black Friday sales. There is a special if you purchase an "apple computer". I am interested in purchasing an Ipad as a Christmas gift and wanted to know if this special would apply to it.
You'll have to ask the retailer if the iPad is included or not. What you and I may define as a "computer" is irrelevant.
No, the iPad is considered a tablet. If you get a special with a Apple Computer you would not get it with the iPad, iPod, or iPhone. Also I bet the fine print states that you have to purchase a specific computer or a computer of a certain value.
Cheers!
As Dave stated, it depends on what the retailer says. A store may very well list an iPad as an "apple computer" and sell it for the discount - Apple themselves wouldn't, but a third party store might.
It depends on how you want to define things. It may or may not, depending on who you ask. If I may ask, what does it matter? What is it you really need to know or accomplish?
What is the name of the store? I have never heard of a Tablet being put in the computer category.
