Use function key + delete.

Press Control B, it clear the Whole Content
STEP 1 - Select/Highlight multiple cells that needs to be deleted
STEP 2 - Hold fn+control
STEP 3 - press delete button

Note as well: others have said fn+cntrl+delete but there is no reason to press control. It only need fn+delete.
