iTunes match issues

I get to step 3 in itunes match (uploading artwork and remaining songs) and nothing happens. I have it showing 0 of 1215 uploaded. Been like this for a day.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Is there a way to fix this?

How do I find out which of the songs in my library aren't standard apple format? I have 6000 or so songs - do I have to check them all individually?

Right click in the column heading within iTunes and select Kind which will bring up a new column showing that information
