If you got it in the U.S. in October, it is permanently locked to AT&T. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones under any circumstances. Sell it and purchase one elsewhere.

nobody in india wil buy it coz its locked.

Then sell it on e-bay. It doesn't change the facts. You can NOT use that phone in India.

If you are getting an error that says the SIM is not supported, the phone is carrier locked. As you've already been told. Sell it, give it away, or use it for a paperweight. It can NOT be unlocked.

Yes... BUT. You will need a valid US issued credit card, with a US BIlling / Shipping address. You can NOT order it shipped outside the US if ordering from the US store.
