CHARGER QUESTION
This may sound like a stupid question but does anyone know why the charger comes apart where you plug it into the wall outlet? Does it do something special or is it just there just because??

The iPhone charger that comes with US iPhones doesnt come apart. However the iPad charger does and it s designed this way to allow different plug configurations for different countries.
