Are there any other mice attached? Is the keyboard attached purely a keyboard, or are there other input capabilities?
Is the mouse attached to a high speed or low powered bus? Check Apple menu -> About This Mac -> More info under the USB section of the hardware.
Does the mouse appear in Apple menu -> System Preferneces -> Keyboard and Mouse?
Have you checked if Logitech's software is known to be 10.7.2 compatible and is it installed?

I have alsomagic trackpad connected. May that be an issue?
Yes. Both may be vying for position on the input lineup or drawing power from the USB bus weakening the signal of the bus. A wall powered USB hub would solve the latter issue. Properly written drivers for both that are 10.7.2 compatible would help as well.
Well i dont find any place that what shows that i have g5 connected. But while the mice works i can adjust tracking speed and stuff. I have tried to switch to different usb ports, but always the same.
Ok, now i turned trackpad off. Let's see what happens.
Seems like it helped! Thank you so very much!
Ok, it stopped working. Now it worked like 5hours.
Get Steer Mouse if you don't have a compatible Logitech driver:
