Can 2 users use 1 ipad?

Just got an ipad 2 and wanted to know if both my wife an I can use our own set of apps on the thing? I have all my current ones that I use on my iphone but she will want all her own apps associated with her own ID. How do we do this with one ipad? Please tell me there is some secret way :-)

If not what is the solution to having two users use 1 ipad?

Thanks!

Calendar data is different, that is a built-in app and iTunes is able to keep it in-line with other devices/computers.

To get content/progress from a third-party app onto a different device you generally need to backup that device - which will backup the content of all of that device's apps (except for media content in the iPod/Music, Videos, and iBooks apps and synced photos as they should already be on the computer so don't need to be backed up). You can then restore the other device to that backup - which will overwrite its current contents with the contents of that backup. The sync process doesn't individually copy an app's content/settings/progress to your computer's iTunes so that it can be synced to a different device.

Thanks all for your help and insight!

One other sort of non related question...When playing an app (game) I have to click the X2 in bottom right corner to see full screen while in the game. When I do that the games' graphics look horrible. Is there a setting somewhere to compensate for this? Or are the game developers just not developing for that size screen yet? It just looks bad....Pixelated, glitchy. Forces me to play at the same size (roughly) as the iphone. That was one of the reason for the ipad. Disappointing that graphics are not displaying good at full size.

Thanks for any insight into this.

Best.

Those games/apps are designed for the smaller iPhone/iPod Touch screen so take up an iPhone-sized portion of the screen, and the 2x button effectively just doubles the size of each pixel in both direction so will appear pixelated. It's up to the app developer to either create a separate iPad version (which would be a separate purchase) or make the app 'universal' (universal apps have a '+' symbol against in the store) which means that the single app has processing in it which detects the device that they are on and therefore on an iPad would make full use of the larger screen
