Importing MP3 tracks into Podcast in Garage Band 3
I dont seem able to import self-created audio MP3 tracks into GarageBand even though they appear in itunes - itunes music tracks can be imported but not audio MP3
Is there another program or a more appropriate program that is more suited to do what I am trying to with these soundtracks as far as placing chapters and pictures on an iTunes compatible (more specifically a non video iPod like a Nano) audio file (with extension .m4a)?
Obviously I'm not intending to produce a podcast at all or an xml file that I need to publish to a server.
I'm not sure. The only software I've used was for burning CDs as continuous pieces with song markers ... that's not going to help you because you'd be right back where you started from with iTunes putting those fraction of a second silences between songs B-(>
Thanks for all the advice everyone, I finally got it to work! I had to convert the file from an mp3 to an aif and then drag it in from its location in my itunes library folder. If I could buy you all a beer, I would! 🙂
