I guess so. That or he just makes things up on the spot. I've seen a handful of postings from him that range from harmless advice to downright dangerous.
Right, so just because your Mac can 'see' an iPhone with Bluetooth enabled (like it should be able to), you jumped to the conclusion that it was possible to sync the iPhone via Bluetooth?
Wow! That's some leap!!
You can't sync with iTunes over Bluetooth, if that's what you're getting at. But I connect with Bluetooth all the time, like when I use Personal Hotspot or the Keynote Remote app.

Syncing is exactly what the original poster wanted to do - did you not read the question?
Well then, I'm sorry. But why must you make it your goal to strike me down? Why is it that when you get to a high level, you think you can "pick on" lower level users?
Because you have a habit of constantly posting inaccurate or completely false information on a technical support forum designed to help iPhone users.
Everyone here welcomes knowledgeable help, so if you want to help, great...but do your homework first & stop trying to defend yourself when your wrong...it makes you look foolish. If you're wrong, admit it & move on.
I do indeed want to help. If you browse around, I do a lot of apologising when I am wrong. But I have good intentions. You see, "sync" to me means "pair," so in my mind, I was answering the question. But I hardly think that telling someone they can sync over Bluetooth is dangerous.

Absolutely. He accused me of "stalking" him when I corrected some of his damaging misinformation.

But that's just wrong and you're hurting others with your constant misinformation.
Once again, I fail to see how that is harmful.

You fail to see how the spreading of completely and totally incorrect information is harmful? PLEASE stay away from the forum.
But I have good intentions.
Not enough to successfully participate on a technical support forum...requires knowledge.
You see, "sync" to me means "pair," so in my mind, I was answering the question.
Forget about what things mean to you...the ONLY correct meaning is the common language found in the manual or Apple's support documents. This insures we're all talking the same language...very, very important on a technical support forum
Thank you wjosten, you see, I prefer useful advice such as this as opposed to anything that Philly_Phan types. I would like to once again apologize to you, and also to anyone who I have given incorrect information to. This has really got me down, and I feel bad that I am not helping people. But at the same time, I am not new to Apple and am qualified to help in some scenarios, which is how I accumulated the few points I have.
Now educate yourself and don't post unless you're absolutely positive your answer is not only helpful, but correct. Make sure you use "our common language"...insures we all know exactly what you're talking about. And stop arguing...again, makes you look foolish. If you're wrong, learn from it, don't make the same mistake again & move on.
